BAT YAM SENIOR SOCIAL CLUBRENOVATION 2010
RENOVATION 2010

Thanks to Shelters for Israel, over 200 senior citizens, most of whom are Holocaust survivors, now enjoy a more modern and comfortable social club. The Pincus Sheltered Housing Building in Bat Yam provides affordable housing to senior citizens. In addition to the physical housing, residents receive a wide variety of social and cultural services designed to enhance their life. In 2010, the building was in desperate need of renovation, and Shelters for Israel stepped in to renovate the facility’s social club where residents gather for social activities and performances. Renovations included new floors and ceilings, painting, electrical system upgrades, new windows and doors, and a new multimedia system.
